Tomini Shipping is pleased to announce the appointment of two new board members Tejas Shah, CFO who will replace Nitin Mehta who resigned his position in June 2021 and Adam Shaikh, Head of Sale and Purchase, who is a fourth-generation member of the Shaikh family.

These new directors will provide strategic direction for continued growth around Tomini Shipping’s vision to be the most trusted partner in maritime services to their clients guided by their values and commitment to safety, corporate social responsibility and sustainability.

We are pleased to announce that from July 2017 Tomini Classics, the automotive division of Tomini Group, will become the exclusive distributor of Jannarelly cars in the GCC. Ever since the unveiling of the brand’s DESIGN-1 concept car at the Tomini Gallery on May 25^th of last year, we have worked steadily on laying new bridges between the two brands.

We believe Jannarelly’s approach to building sports cars aligns perfectly with the core values of Tomini Classics: a deep appreciation for design virtuosity, high regard for material craftsmanship, and a driver-focused experience. Jannarelly’s first production car, the DESIGN-1, perfectly embodies those qualities in a modern tribute to 1960’s motoring.

The Jannarelly DESIGN-1 is a rear-wheel-drive, 2­-seater roadster with a steel tubular frame and structural aluminum panels for the chassis. It is fitted with a mid-­rear, 3.5L V6 DOHC 24-­valve engine. The body is mostly made of lightweight materials, mostly fiberglass and carbon fiber.

Tomini Classics and Jannarelly will further their collaboration in a limited Tomini Classics edition of the DESIGN-1, combining design elements of some of the collection’s most iconic cars. Amongst these customized touches will be hound’s tooth upholstery in the style of early Porsche 911’s, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and burgundy red paintwork.

We look forward to a fruitful relationship with one of the country’s most innovative automakers, one that will add to the diversity of the UAE automotive scene and the Middle Eastern motoring world in general.
